MY_TRAVEL_TRAVAILS... Episode 3

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE... ACQUIRE IT!!!

I got to the park at about 3:45pm to board a bus headed to Rivers State from Abia State, Meanwhile, two buses were already loaded and ready to take off, so I thought hopefully,another one was on it's way back or it was coming from somewhere around town, either way, I was waiting to see a bus ASAP cos at that point, it was already 3:45pm and obviously late to embark on such journey with my load...

A journey that was supposed to last 3 hrs(shaa, I wasn't about completing the statement)... 😂😝...
So, I got a travel ticket and took a seat outside the park just underneath one tree like that... according to them,the driver was on his way back... At 4:35,driver was still on his way. On a normals... I'm a very patient person... I could wait for something for as long as i'm rest assured it was gon' get to me...So, I got weary of sitting under the tree cos of one woman and her play play children... I sighted a seat just in front of a chemist shop around the park (You shaa know there's a difference btw Drugstore, Chemist and Pharmacy)... So this one is a Chemist because en manage get some painkillers...

So back to the matter...the skies were gloomy, like it was about raining in a few seconds ... Albeit it was drizzling already but Nigerian weather no dey disappoint... En fit just begin dey pour heavy showers without proper warning... I couldn't take the risk, so I pleaded with the Oldie I met at the Chemist shop to please let me rest my tired ass down in front of his shop with my plenty load while I await the never-coming bus to arrive.

I searched for all these Cold drinks+Gala hawkers and luckily found one... Got my favorite #150 coke plastic with Rite+Bigi sausage rolls... (P. S... i never chop since morning ooo before you quickly conclude I'm a glutton). At this point... It should be around 5:10pm....Bus never reach location... We never see bus, but never see us.

Some passengers lost their cool... Demanded their bus fare back from the attendant and off they went to God-knows-where... I insisted on staying, at this point too... Mumsy had already made me look like a customer care representative with her doting calls and questioning... She even told me to go back to school and postpone the journey till the next day but adikwa nu m very determined to travel that day... And secondly, echego m the going back and calculated the cash at hand...En no go do me till that next day, so I gats just maintain my cool and wait for that bus no matter when it was going to arrive...

At this point, I have eaten fried meat and liver that was passing in peace and didn't call my name to come and buy ooo but the sight was too tempting... I gats succumb....Resultant effects of idleness!!!... Also at this point, it was already 5:59.

I always feel like travelling without those two cos, they're properties you can't minimise nor fold no matter how hard you try and as person like me wey no dey like stress, I no dey like carry plenty plenty load travel...but what are your clothes without you...

Now, I hear some of you saying the “FALL IN LOVE” phrase is too cliché... Yes of course, I agree with anyone who thinks so but that doesn't make it less-meaningful ...It has also been abused and misused by us. Because it's easy to say and we think “All the world loves a lover” (that's an idiom)... We tend to let it proceed from our lips even when we don't mean it.
